LASIK, and many other forms of vision correction.
Dr. Fortin grew up in small-town Maine and completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University, graduating cum laude with a degree in neuroscience. She then received her MD degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and her ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY. Most recently she completed a year-long fellowship specializing in refractive surgery at ClearSight in OKC!
Most importantly Dr. Fortin is a previous eye surgery patient. She elected to get SMILE eye surgery to help her wake up and see. Dr. Fortin loves to give back and spends some of her time going to Uvalde, TX to handle complex cataract surgery cases.
Dr. Fortin’s favorite things to do include finding new restaurants, spending time with her fiancé Aneel and their two cats, and reading (especially horror and mystery books).
