LASIK is Painful
False. Prior to the LASIK procedure, your eye is numbed with anesthetic eye drops. While you might feel slight pressure, you shouldn't experience pain. Post-surgery discomfort, if any, is typically mild and temporary.

False. LASIK is a very safe procedure with an excellent success rate. In a recent study, 98% of patients reported that their vision with LASIK was superior to glasses or contacts.
